Here
are 5 success tips to help you realize if what you are doing will
lead you to success in the long run. Use these tips to guide you
in the elusive quest for success that stumps many of us:
1.
Question your assumptions about what you must do. Your first
step to success is to find out how many unchecked assumptions you
have made about what you must do. Many of the duties we assume for
ourselves are not necessary for US to do. Learn the value of giving
others the chance to do for you what you do not want or need to
do. Giving chores to others in exchange for money or other valuable
consideration is called outsourcing. Outsource as many of your own
chores as you can.
2.
Eliminate as much wasted time in your daily routine as you can.
Next, you need to cut out all unnecessary distractions from what
is important for you to do yourself. Even a simple change like only
checking your email twice a day, at specific times, means you can
cut out the distraction of having to stop what you are doing and
respond immediately to what someone else wants. Stop reading newspapers
and watching TV news. If a real calamity occurs that will affect
you, public services will inform you.
3.
Dare to dream about doing the things that really excite you.
Now you can begin to recapture the excitement about life you had
as a child. Allow your mind to dream about exciting, new adventures
you can have for yourself. Dare to imagine all the activities you
have deferred in your life. Start now to plan your new adventures
and decide how to get the money to do them, if it takes more money
than you already have.
4.
Practice making forced acts of courage. Develop a warrior attitude.
Practice making forced acts of courage. Ordinary men and women are
trained to do so as part of military training in boot camp. By repeatedly
taking action that causes fear, the fear becomes manageable. Consider
trying to contact celebrities, famous people and high government
officials and getting them to answer questions you have about their
life, their work that have meaning for you.
5.
Write a mission statement and plan of action for your life.
Finally, take the time to figure out your mission in life and your
plan for achieving success. Commit that plan to writing. Read it
every day and revise it as you and your situation changes. Reading
your mission statement and plan of action out loud every day makes
a deep impression on your mind. Then your mind will find ways for
you to get what you really want.
