The ability to create is a gift given to each and everyone of us by the Universe without exception. Thought is the very first step to manifesting any creation. Thoughts are energy, they are real. Our thoughts act as magnets and attract other thoughts, people, and circumstances that harmonize with them.

Much of what was once considered metaphysical, esoteric knowledge in the past is now scientific fact. The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like. Physics has shown that the principles involved in the Law of Attraction are every bit as valid as those governing the Law of Gravity. So it should come as no surprise that dwelling only on your problems simply attracts more problems.

The idea of attracting success by thinking about it is very appealing. So appealing in fact, people often get the wrong impression that it's easy. It ain't easy folks but it is simple.

Affirmations can be helpful, but mindless affirmations alone have no real value. On the other hand, once an affirmation becomes part of your belief system the subconscious goes to work attracting opportunities. Check out some great prosperity affirmations by some exceptional people. It is not the success itself we attract, but the opportunity to succeed.

The subconscious mind is working tirelessly 24 hours a day. It doesn't analyze, it doesn't judge, it simply accepts and attracts more of what the conscious mind is focused on. Are you attracting problems or solutions? By focusing on desire and showing gratitude for what you already have, the subconscious mind is given the necessary material to provide a constant stream of opportunities. Whether we take advantage of these opportunities or not is another story.

It's impossible to operate outside the law of attraction. Consciously or unconsciously your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, determine if this law works for or against you. Stay focused on your success and reaching your goals. As one success leads to another, success becomes a habit. Problems and obstacles are seen as no more than stepping stones on the road to your ultimate goal, whatever that may be!

Hi there,

My name is Chakra. I'm a 3 year old yellow lab/german shepard mix. My first home contained 4 cats and 3 little people. Unfortunately, they could not keep me and so sent me away to boarding school (it was sooooo noisy there).

My current human stopped by one day and decided that since I was the only student not barking like crazy and making a fool out of themselves that she would take me home with her. I wasn't sure if it was only for a field trip but I've been here two years now so I'm guessing it may be permanent.

I know I'm not a cat, but hey, I was surrounded by 4 cats in my formative year and I happened to adopt a lot of their mannerisms. My favorite is jumping up with all four paws onto counters, car hoods, etc.

This really seems to impress the bi-peds that witness it. They act amazed and say things like, "Oh my God! That's impossible!" Well, I don't know about you but if I just saw something with my own eyes, I believe it and don't go around saying, "That's impossible!" I still don't quite understand the humans in my life...they are an interesting bunch though.

I was never told that it was impossible for a 55 pound yellow lab/german shepard mix to leap into the air like a cat so I just do it when I get the urge (or when a huge, burmese mountain dog is chasing me).

I wonder, do you think if bi-peds were never told that a thing was impossible, they might do what they wanted to do without being afraid they might fail?

I was speaking with a friend about all the good luck charms we have created in our lives. A few of the more popular ones...crossing your fingers as in "I'll cross my fingers for you!", How about that old standby, the lucky horseshoe, another of my favorites is the 4 leaf clover. I remember as a kid on St. Patrick's Day searching for 4 leaf clovers in the bunch of plants my mother would get on St. Paddy's Day...me mother is Irish, dontcha know ;o)

Well, having grown up in an Irish/Scottish household there are an abundance of superstitions I've had to fight all my life as well as dealing with the notion that what we have in life is due to the luck of the draw. I CHOOSE to believe that I make my own luck...that it is not some random act of the Universe whether I have a life of abundance in all things such as family, friends, work, love, joy.

So I keep this quote close by to remind me that I am the creator of my reality...it is my choices that puts the wind in my sails and moves me toward my destiny. I hope it helps to remind you that you are the Captain of your own ship as well!

Richard Bach's writings have had a huge influence on my life since I was a teenager. They have helped me grow and appreciate life in it's many varied and wonder-filled experiences.

I have read Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah at least a dozen times and most of his books more than once.
